Our idea started with a belief that great experiences happen over food, and that few things are more authentic than a meal cooked in your own home.
This got us wondering:
How can those of us who are a little short on time experience a meal at home that is a little more authentic than a meal kit or delivery?
And, where can chefs practice their passion if they don’t want to work the traditional 6 days a week in a restaurant or give up their day jobs?
Our solution is Table at Home. We have made it simple to organize a great private chef to cook for you in your home. Posting a request only takes minutes, and we have taken the guesswork out of choosing a private chef with customer reviews and photos of chefs’ creations.
While our specialty is Private Chef Dinner Parties, you can also use Table at Home to hire a Private Chef for Private Cooking lessons, Vacation home catering, Special celebrations and any time that you need an amazing food experience in your home.
We launched at the start of 2018 with a roster of amazing private chefs serving Washington D.C. and the broader DMV area. Since then, we have expanded the service to a roster of Private Chefs in New York (including Private Chefs who service The Hamptons, Jersey City and Greenwich) and a group of top Private Chefs in Chicago. In late 2018 we moved west, starting our service with Private Chefs in Los Angeles (where we have private chefs who service everywhere from Malibu to Hollywood and south to Orange County) and San Diego (where we have Private Chefs for dinner parties and Airbnb vacation home rental catering).
We are independently owned and run by passionate foodies, and pride ourselves on providing a fair platform for both Chefs and their Customers.
