My wife hired Chef Cashimiere to make me a birthday dinner in our home. I'd have to say that the experience was one of the best birthday presents I've ever received. And, the meal ranks as one of the best I've ever eaten, period. As well as being a great chef, Cashimiere was fun to talk with while he was cooking. He started us with a bruschetta appetizer, and then led us through salad and an amazing duck 2 ways main course. Dessert was profiteroles with custard and berries for me, and chocolate moose for my wife. My description though, doesn't even begin to describe the decadence of the meal. Each element of each course could have stood on its own as an entree. At the end of the meal I jokingly asked if he could come back next week - but we would love to have him back again soon!

Chef Alessandro is an amazing chef and beyond that, an interesting person that is easy to talk too. He was very communicative before the event letting us know his time of arrival and also showing us a picture preview of the lovely ravioli that he made for us earlier in the day! Upon arrival he took off and changed shoes (which was appreciated due to the wet weather outside) and changed into professional chef attire. He was extremely organized and made a 4 course dinner for two look like a breeze. He was comfortable cooking in front of us and chatted with us when engaged. She started the evening with shrimp tempura amuse bouche, followed by a caprese salad, halibut or filet mignon and ended it with the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had. Both entrees were delicious. We could not have asked for things to go more smoothly. We requested a celebratory family dinner for 12 adults and 4 children (ranging in age from 2 to 14). In a few days, Chef Matt came back with a proposal that fit the bill perfectly. We touched base via phone a couple of days prior to the event to fine tune things.Chef Matt arrived an hour and a half prior to our guests to get his dishes started….and EVERYTHING was delicious! From the unique cocktail, yummy hot appetizers, three course dinner to dessert, all dishes were layered with flavor and presented beautifully. Matt made kid friendly items for the littles and also provided a tasting plate so they could sample some of the grownup dishes. The flow of the evening was perfect, allowing us to really relax, enjoy the flavors and each other’s company.All we provided was the flatware and glasses, as well as our own wine and champagne. Chef Asheesh is originally from the UK, and along the way to LA has worked at some of the worlds most well regarded establishments including La Chateu in France and Contigi in Italy - both Michelin star restaurants. He has also cooking for some quite well known people - having been a sous chef at 2 Royal Palaces - Kensington and Buckingham. His style is classic European with a Eastern twist, and he has a real passion for rich sauces.
