Having grown up in both NYC and Malibu my influences range from sophisticated elegance to laid back “casual chic”.. Always keeping the emphasis on fresh products and healthy ingredients. My goal is to bring Family and Friends back to the table and passion back into the kitchen by creating fresh, exciting, clean, delicious dishes, presented with, color, flavor and style .

    We had the best time. Chef Joey made a delicious southern meal which we discussed way in advance. He prepared and cooked our meal. The fried chicken was the best we ever had. The ribs were my favorite and now my partner wants to learn how to bbq. Chef Joey washed all the dishes and boxed our leftovers. It was like being at a restaurant but at home. My family was so impressed, we will definitely ask chef Joey back.

    Chef Joseph was incredible. Would highly recommend! He was so great to communicate with, immediately understanding what we were looking for. He was such a pleasure to have in the house, the food and presentation were perfect. He cleaned up everything and leftovers were in the fridge for the next day. He made a delicious Easter brunch spread, really fantastic! Will definitely request him again.

    Very accommodating, we were able to build an amazing menu. Loved everything that he made.

    Chef and his assistant were amazing from start to finish! They came over prepared for the night and incorporated many of my mom's favorite things (we were celebrating her 65th birthday). They were incredibly professional, warm, conversational and the food was excellent. Everything was a hit and the proteins were cooked to perfection. The shocking hit of the meal was the creamed spinach, so definitely recommend requesting that. Overall, we would book them again in a heartbeat!

    Chef Joseph was great to work with! From the moment I submitted my request throughout the entire planning process, he was extremely responsive and helpful in delivering the kind of experience I wanted to create. We had 11 guests for an intimate backyard birthday celebration for my husband. Chef Joseph really worked with me to hone in on menu items to fit our Spanish theme and even brought all the dishes and silverware. Our guests raved about the paella. My personal favorite was his special green sauce. I've been craving it ever since. So grateful for his expertise and attention to the details that mattered most to me!

Chef Joey arrived on time, had the buffet ready for service as scheduled and left my kitchen clean. I didn’t have to do a single thing but enjoy my party. He is a complete joy!! I will definitely be calling on him again.

    From the request process through our dinner, we had the best experience! Requesting quotes was an easy online process. I received quotes, from multiple chefs, within a few hours.
    I was lucky enough to select Chef Joey. From the very beginning his communication was fantastic! He reached out to get a better understanding of what I was looking for and delivered. He arrived on-time, set a beautiful table and blew our minds with our 9+ -course meal! Everything was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers through the desserts.

    I scheduled the dinner for my Husband's birthday and he's already looking forward to our next dinner with Chef Joey!

    Chef Joseph cooked dinner for me and my girlfriend and the entire experience was simply amazing. He was prompt with his communication, punctual on arrival and the dinner itself was delicious. The drinks were very tasty-he made us what he named Honeybooboo (bourbon and lemonade) the steak was made just right and my girlfriend and I loved the Brussels sprouts. Thank you Chef Joseph for a special evening and will definitely be recommending you to others!

    Our family was looking for a vegan/vegetarian-friendly private chef to cook for a weekend birthday gathering in Malibu and out of everyone we spoke to, Joey Santos was the only one who immediately understood exactly what we were looking for and quickly came up with a delicious-sounding menu that excited everyone. Coordinating with him was easy and stress-free, which was especially appreciated as we were all coming from out of town and hosting in a rental house with a kitchen we were not familiar with. Joey and his sous chef, Phillip, cooked two dinners for us, a Mexican and a Mediterranean feast, and both were absolutely phenomenal. Everything was fresh, made-from-scratch and delicious, with enough variety that satisfied the meat and non-meat eaters alike and left everyone stuffed and happy. Even better was the company; Joey and Phillip were easy to talk to, told great stories, and created a fun and relaxing atmosphere both days that made it feel like we just had friends in the kitchen. And he just made everything easy for us: bringing all the food, cookware and serving items needed, and packing leftovers and cleaning up at the end of the night. (The price was also very reasonable considering the quality of the food prepared and the number of people served.) We can't recommend Joey highly enough if you're in need of a dependable and talented chef.
