Hi there! I’m Allie.
For the last 6 years, I have been working as a private chef in Chicago. After working for a number of years in restaurants and catering, I decided that I was ready to go out on my own. I wanted to work directly with clients instead of being behind the scenes. The idea of having personal experiences and some creative freedom in cooking is what attracted me most to working privately. With my Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, years of knowledge and training, and an interested client looking for home-cooked meals, I left my catering job and never looked back.
I like to keep my cooking rustic, but there is always a time and place for some fine dining. I’m always up for a challenge and am eager to expand my stock of skills. I am comfortable cooking any cuisine and am happy to create custom menus for every special diet. Over the years, I have worked specially with clients who are gluten free/celiac, dairy-free, sugar-free, low-carb vegetarian, vegan, paleo, and HcG.
