As a child, I Remember the smell of Persian spices and the scent of caramelized onions on the stove.
I became a chef because I love the way a home cooked meal brings a family closer. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, I wanted to be able to cook not just food but also experiences. So, rather than continuing a career in restaurants, I decided to become a private chef.
To truly succeed as a private chef In NYC it is crucial to develop a niche. My specialty is vibrant, healthy cooking. Whether I am cooking a rustic Italian meal or a 7 course vegan tasting, my food is always complex, yet simple.
My path has lead me to work everywhere, from a Farmhouse in New Jersey to a Mansion in the Hampton’s and my client list has grown to include influential people such as Paul McCartney, Katie Couric and Jimmy Buffett.
