About Me

I am a chef, writer, food activist and traveler based in New York City.
I am a graduate of Natural Gourmet Institute culinary school in New York and have years working every position in restaurant kitchens. I have catered large and small events and private parties. I have cooked for clients such as Vogue, Google, David Zwirner, Alexander Wang, and Nike among others, creating visceral experiences in conjunction with art, fashion, and media.
My food is influenced primarily by Asian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine but I can accommodate any dietary need. Sustainability and consciousness of consumption are a priority at every step of the process for me. So besides preparing delicious food, I focus on mainly local and seasonal ingredients.

  • Chef Lani’s meal was immaculate and so delicious. She helped surprise my wife with an amazing birthday meal comprosed of the freshest ingredients, bought that day from Union Square market. It was a four course meal catered for a tough crowd. The birthday girl is pescatarian and her father an old school meat and potatoe’s kind of guy. EVERYONE was blown away with the dishes. Chef Lani also took time to explain the meal and how she put it together.

    This was my first experience using Table at Home and one of the few times I’ve written a review. Chef Lani, thank you for making Erin’s birthday so special. We are huge fans! Can’t wait for another excuse to have Chef Lani cook a meal for us.
