About Me

I am a Frenchy living in Los Angeles for the past 27 years. I grew up in a family of professional chefs so from a very young age I have been passionate about “Everything Food”.. I trained in Europe my favorite was Italy I learnt the language and the beauty of
“la joie de vivre ” Italian Style. My Cuisine is very Mediterranean ,fresh organic produce, weekly jaunts to the Farmer market is my favorite thing to do. I travelled to Asia, Cambodia, Thailand where I taught my favorite meals in return for being taught theirs. I moved to LA and with a partner opened a cooking academy. I created programs ,taught every kind of cuisine and skill classes that exists ! I created a Celebrity Chef Series where Wolfgang Puck was one of the regulars amongst many. I hosted the food segment on KTLA and helped them with their nutrition program. For the past 5 years I have been working as a chef on private jets, my clients are a varied bunch from the Royal Saudi family to the spoiled Celebrity brats and the very unique mega brains of Silicon
I will one day write about the unforgettable exotic experiences and trips that took me to the Sahara desert of Morocco and the Safari camps of Tanzania, the jungles of Costa Rica and many more ALL where I followed the locals till they were willing to teach me their native this was the best Culinary Program ever !
I now have a Catering and Event Planning company where everyday I get to do what I love most.
I am feeling blessed to get to know some of you better and share food and laughs and help make your dinners & events even that more memorable 🙂

  • Rachel was awesome, I will definitely be using her again. She was easy to communicate with, flexible with changes to the menu, and considerate toward our dietary restrictions. She created a menu that was completely personalized based on our favorite foods and made excellent suggestions based on her culinary experience.

    She is a great cook that has clearly had years of experience as a chef. She was also great to have in our home. If you’re looking for a personalized dinner with a nice, experienced chef, look no further than Rachel!

  • Rachel is sensational. All the dishes were first-rate and elicited positive comments from our guests. She whipped these plates up with her right hand while entertaining and feeding our twin girls in the kitchen with her left hand. And she is a delight to have in the home. She is flexible, productive, understated, positive, expert, and fun. If you don’t select her, I believe you are making a mistake.

  • Rachel was terrific. We asked for a combination of meal prep and also a cooking lesson. She prepared a delicious birthday meal and taught me how to make it in the future. She even taught our 3 year old some kitchen skills. She was lots of fun, very pleasant and easy to work with, and I could eat her carrot soup for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Highly recommend.

  • Rachel made my wife's 40th birthday truly special. Our family only eats certified organic and I had many special requests. Rachel met every one of them and was fun to work with. We built the menu together and when I didn't know what I wanted​ she was ready with great suggestions. The preplanning was simple and easy. The night of the event Rachel came on time and took care of everything. My guests kept commenting on how good the food was and my daughter who is the pickiest​ eater​ even loved it. Rachel was so sweet in fact that my daughter had an off-menu​ request and Rachel on the spot whipped it up. My personal​ favorite was the puff pastry with red pepper, zucchini, caramelized onions, and parmesan. After all the guest left Rachel stayed late and made my wife and I a very special pièce montée. It was the end to a perfect evening and to top it all off,​ she left​ our kitchen​ spotless : ) Rachel is very personable and great to work with. I felt as if we've known each other all our lives.
