Family Style PlattersI am a former classically trained dancer who transitioned into my professional cooking role in the fall of 2011. I graduated from Johnson & Wales Charlotte Campus in 2013 and have since worked for Marriott hotels, The Masters at Augusta National Golf Course, Publix, and other reputable companies.
I grew up in South Carolina and my love for cooking developed at a young age, thanks to the teachings of my Caribbean mother. I pride myself on having a Low-country childhood and growing up in a part-West Indian household. My favorite cuisines to create (and eat!) are Italian, Latin, and Caribbean, of course! I also love to do meal prep and very intimate catered events. The most exciting aspect of being a private chef is combining my passion for food while still being able to interact with people closely.

Chef Nikki curated this meal beautifully for me and my small family. The food was excellent and she even shared recipes for the dishes. She has a wonderful open personality and was a delight to speak with while she was cooking.
She even went above and beyond after the power at her home had been out for 12 hours during our heat wave and went and we rebought food just to make sure nothing went bad.
We would definitely hire her again, and I think she would really shine for a large gathering given her extensive background. We had lots of leftovers which we are enjoying including a Keylime cheesecake and steak (with an amazing sauce) and shrimp. A+++
