About Me

Hello! I am Chef Audrey. I delight in creating festive and refined menus for private clients in San Diego and Los Angeles. I honed my skills in New York as the Lead Chef at Good Eggs, a cook at Marlow & Daughters (Brooklyn), and as Event Chef at Reynard (Brooklyn), Basilica Events (Hudson), and Eleven36 (Brooklyn). I rounded out my cooking experience with over 15 years cooking alongside celebrated independent chefs in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hudson Valley and Brooklyn.

I am currently a Private Chef – you can hire me for special occasions in your home, catered events, cooking lessons, and weekly meal deliveries in San Diego.
I am passionate about creating unique, creative meals as well as classic favorites from Italian, French, and Persian cuisine. My approach to sourcing and making menus is rooted in a reverence and love for local, seasonal ingredients and an attentiveness to the cultural and sensory possibilities a well prepared meal can create. As you can see in my image gallery – my plating style is whimsical, colorful and vibrant!

Ingredients and Sourcing – All my ingredients are rigorously sourced with an emphasis on local, seasonally available foods and beautiful produce. In San Diego I source from Chino Farm, Sage Hill Ranch Garden, JR organics, Girl and Dug, Ken’s top Notch, Jacy Farm, Mindful Mushrooms and more!

Cuisine – I enjoy cooking vegetarian, pescatarian and for clients with special diets and health concerns.

  • Audrey was absolutely phenomenal! Her communication was impeccable. We spoke on the phone prior to the dinner to iron out all our details for the evening and she was incredibly flexible in my request to make this a hands on experience for my girlfriend and provided an amazing idea to cap off the valentines day gift. She showed up on time with everything necessary to prepare and serve for the evening. Once the hands on portion was done, she prepped the next courses and cleaned up as she went. We finished the evening with full hearts and stomachs, with a clean kitchen requiring no attention. 10/10 will bring her into our home again for our next meal we want to learn how to cook from a professional like Chef Audrey!
