After 10 years teaching and conducting on the music faculty of Cornell University, my passion for food was too overwhelming to ignore. I moved to Savannah, GA and started as a Garde Manger(Salad and hors de oeuvre, etc)at an exclusive dinner club atop the Hyatt Regency and soaked up an enormous amount of experience in a short time. Getting home at 1am, I would read and explore til my eyes shut down.
I quickly moved up the ranks and a few years later I landed my first Exec Chef job in Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. Within 4 months I was featured in Men’s Journal Magazine and was mentioned on the screens of every NYC cab.
I opened restaurants featuring Southern, Gastro pub, Soul Food, Cajun/Creole, and Italian cuisines.
I am affable, knowledgeable, and have a natural knack for interacting with guests interested in food and cooking.
