About Me

After 10 years teaching and conducting on the music faculty of Cornell University, my passion for food was too overwhelming to ignore. I moved to Savannah, GA and started as a Garde Manger(Salad and hors de oeuvre, etc)at an exclusive dinner club atop the Hyatt Regency and soaked up an enormous amount of experience in a short time. Getting home at 1am, I would read and explore til my eyes shut down.
I quickly moved up the ranks and a few years later I landed my first Exec Chef job in Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. Within 4 months I was featured in Men’s Journal Magazine and was mentioned on the screens of every NYC cab.
I opened restaurants featuring Southern, Gastro pub, Soul Food, Cajun/Creole, and Italian cuisines.

I am affable, knowledgeable, and have a natural knack for interacting with guests interested in food and cooking.

I am absolutely dedicated to your experience and will do all in my power to give you an exclusive and memorable experience!

  • Chef Dave was awesome!!! We had a great time with him and his assistant, Austin!!! I definitely recommend him to use when in Nashville and looking to have the chef at home experience. 10/10... He was so accommodating and a blast to have in our house.

  • We hired Chef Dave to prepare dinner for a 60th birthday party and what a party it turned out to be! Chef Dave worked with us to create a special menu for 8, that included amazing appetizers, salad, entrée and dessert. It was a fabulous meal and he is a delight. Dave gave us a great explanation around the food he prepared as it was served, answered so many of our culinary questions during the cooking process and made the evening even more fun that I could have hoped. He brought his own cooking gear, ingredients and cleaned up when he was finished. It was a real treat. I will be looking for another excuse to use this site again and will ask for Chef Dave again.
