About Me

My passion for cooking started at a young age of 6, inspired by my grandmother who always bring me in the kitchen to help her cook. From then on, food has always been a major part of my life and keeps me striving for success. Growing up in San Diego, I have always been inspired by fresh, farm to table cuisine and organic ingredients. Starting my career at both The Veranda/Avant, the two restaurants at The Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego, I had the opportunity in working under Niclous Bour and James Kozack (formerly of Charlie Trotter’s). Next moving my career forward and working and studying under French Master Chef, Patrick Ponsaty at Bellamy’s in Escondido, California. The next year I made the move to New York City and opened Tessa, a restaurant on the Upper Westside, with French Chef, Cedric Tovar. In the 4 years of living in New York I had the opportunity in working at three Michelin starred, Eleven Madison Park under Chef Daniel Humm. My time there sharpened edges and created bright paths in my culinary career. Currently working as a Sous Chef at The Sea Grill under michelin starred Chef, Andy Bennet in The Rockefeller Center, I offer my talents to come and cook for you.

  • Chef Eric was incredible. He created a 4 course summer tasting menu that that was above and beyond our expectations. He used fresh, local ingredients and the food was amazing. He was very accommodating and left our kitchen spotless afterwards. Very professional and friendly! Highly recommended!
