About Me

I’m a local DMV Chef, I studied Culinary Arts/Hospitality locally at Stratford University in Falls Church graduating with a Bachelor Degree. I have worked at the top hotels/restaurants within the DMV area to include: Ritz-Carlton Washington , Wolfgang Puck Cut Restaurant Georgetown, Jose Andre’s Fish MGM National Harbor. Esculent 11 Catering is my company I specialize in America/French/Southern/Carribean cuisine I can also prepare many Italian and Spanish dishes. I have prepared dishes for multiple celebrity clients under my company Esculent 11 Catering. I have been featured on News Channel 7, Bravo TV, I ❤heart Radio, and other major networks.

  • Chef Tiya was incredible. I hired chef Tiya for an anniversary dinner for my wife and I, and I can easily say it was the best meal I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, cooked well, and tasted delicious. Chef Tiya made sure to describe each dish, making sure everything was cooked to our liking. Not only was the food delicious, but chef Tiya was a pleasure to work with. She was very respectful while being in our home, and made it feel like we were at a 5 star restaurant. I will DEFINITELY be hiring Chef Tiya next year, and hope to make it an anniversary tradition!
