Potato Crusted salmonThe kitchen has always felt like home to Chef Robert Hafer. His culinary career started at a young age, he took great joy in being in the kitchen with his family. After leaving the Navy in Seattle, Chef Hafer attending culinary school and worked in kitchens in the Seattle area for the first 12 years of his career.
Chef Hafer is a Chicago native, and has worked on honing his craft in the city he loves and calls home again. He spent 6 years working with Chef Takashi, earning a Michelin star, 2 years working with Michelin starred Chef Tony Mantuano and a contestant on season 25 of Food Network Chopped. Chef Hafer utilizes his classic training, transforming ingredients on the fly resulting in unique, modern versions of classic fare.
