Hi, I’m Marvin and I love to cook! I’ve been working in professional kitchens for the last twenty years. During that time I’ve worked with talented chefs of many different backgrounds – Italian, Korean, Vietnamese, Mexican, and of course American. I’m always fascinated by the many parallels I find connecting the different cuisines I’ve been fortunate to work with.
I love foods from all over the world, so if I had to pick my favorite cuisine, I’d say it’s comfort food. It’s the kind of food we’re passionate about; the kind of food you get excited about eating and sharing with the people close to you.
Whether it’s a fancy, multi-course plated meal, a family cookout, or a casual brunch gathering with friends, great food has the ability to bring people together. I believe strongly that dining together is a quintessential human experience. My favorite thing about being a chef is that I get to play a small part in the memories my guests make with their friends and families.
