About Me

HI, I’m Ashley McBrady, a career professional chef and passionate creative. With over 16 years in restaurant kitchens, I have a lot of experience to bring to the table. My passion for cooking began in childhood working with my family in their restaurant and commercial bakery. I’ve worked my way up and always took every opportunity to learn as much as I could. My palate is sophisticated and I love experimenting with new flavors while respecting the history and diversity of cultures through their food . In my journey I have been lucky to have gained some accolades, one I’m especially proud of was being nominated best female chef and also new chef in Denver, CO.
I really enjoy throwing themed events and dinners and have held successful pop-up events focusing on vegetarian and vegan cooking in fun and out of the box ways. I’m so happy to be back in San Diego and really get in touch with the local bounty we have to share.
With the climate of dining changing, I’d like to bring some new possibilities to the table. Whether curating an exciting date-night in the comfort of home, or meal planning and prep for your busy family. I take pride in every dish and experience.

We had a great experience with Chef Ashley. She would reply timely to your inquiries prior to the booked date. She was very flexible so that she can give you the food that suits your palate. She also gave us a head’s up when she was on her way. She brought all the stuff with her that we really didn’t worry about anything! Food was top notch!!! It was sooo good. We had Focaccia with pesto, Caesar salad, scallops (my favorite for that night), osso buco and dessert. My husband had a great time as well!!! We are going to do this more. Waaay better than going to a restaurant.

Wow what an experience! Chef Ashley was wonderful. She communicated clearly and consistently with me before the dinner to build the menu and plan the schedule. She arrived right on time. The food was out of this world. Excellent presentation and so delicious. She even left us some extra. When she left the kitchen was cleaner than when she arrived. It was a surprise dinner for my wife’s birthday and the experience could not have been better. Highly highly recommended!

Every single one of the 6 courses was top notch. Ashley was extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure we were happy throughout the dinner. There is no question I'd call her again the next time we need an elevated fine dining experience at home.
