About Me

I am a winner of Best Chef America recognizing the top 1% of chefs in the country as voted by other chefs. I have ran and owned some of the top Italian and Mediterranean restaurants in New Jersey and have trained in Italy and the Caribbean. I am the former leader of the slow food movement in New Jersey and am the author of Locavore Adventures; Rutgers University Press.
These days I consult for restaurants and food businesses and serve on several food related boards.
