About Me

My passion for cooking has always been present. I am from an Italian family and my mom had me in the kitchen learning to cook for as long as I can remember. I spent my teenage years in the food service industry as a server and prep cook, followed by serving in a fine dining French restaurant in college. I learned how to prepare high end cuisine from a head chef that trained under Anthony Bourdain. I have continued to cook throughout med school, hosting several dinner parties and cooking for others as often as I can. I make any dish that seems fun to make and delicious and I am always open to trying new cuisines. My personal favorites are French, Japanese, and high end Italian.

  • Wow, what a night to remember! I don't even know where to start. If you are someone who is totally new to this service or you're a veteran, Josh was hands down one of the best chefs I could have worked with on the night of my 6 year anniversary.
He was very professional from meeting him on this site, til he walked out my door. He never took more than an hour to respond to me and always had an answer for any question I had. He was never impatient and in fact was very understanding and kind throughout the process. He never once made me feel like I was wasting his time with all my questions, which let's face it planning a big event is stressing enough, so I had plenty to go around. He was completely transparent with his answers and a great listener to what I was trying to accomplish. He was very determined to do a fantastic job and showed it by doing careful planning with the menu I requested and telling me every time he was preparing something for that night. He was so easy to work with and very flexible with any of my requests. He showed up almost 3 hours in advance to properly set things up, which I was fine with due to the importance of the evening to me. Once he was in my home, he was so respectful of my kitchen and all my belongings. He asked for things and made it clear what my expectations should be for the latter part of the night. So I knew exactly what was going on at all times.
I can't even begin to describe the food. My wife was in a complete state of ecstasy with the quality. Josh would take his time to carefully plate each item and then when he brought them out, he explained everything that was on the dish very concise and brief and leave us to enjoy them. There were very minor things that I'm sure he'll adjust with new dishes but everything was like a treat for me palate. From start to finish the presentation and caliber of food was like that of eating at a Michelin starred restaurant. Then to put a cherry on top, he took his time making my kitchen spotless. Although he used my electric range which isn't the best, he did magic with it. Had a little burned residue on it but again, something minor a little elbow grease can get out. So if it isn't obvious, my evening was a complete success and yes, I would use this service with Josh as my chef any day of the week hands down. If you're still trying to figure it out, just stop and ask yourself, do you want to be considered the hero at whatever event you're hosting? Then look no further.
